Bleached Poppy Seed Oil For Oil Painting

Description

Poppy oil is the lightest, least yellowing of the traditional painting oils. It’s especially useful for mixing pale colors, which tend to yellow more quickly than dark colors.

Schmincke recommends using poppy oil in combination with linseed or safflower oil, since poppy oil is much slower drying and does not produce as stable a surface when dry. Click the technical information link below for more details on how to use this lovely, light painting oil.
