Description
These little envelopes are called pōchi-bukuro, and they’re a traditional part of Japanese gift-giving culture. Kids are especially likely to receive money in a pochi-bukuro during the new year, but they’re also used for informal gift-giving in other contexts.
These sophisticated pochi-bukuro are made with kraft paper in soft colors, then printed with white botanical patterns in subtly contrasting ink.
Three washi-paper pochi per package. 110 x 70 mm (4.25″ x 2.75″) each.
