A longtime favorite of cartoonists, calligraphers, and illustrators, the Kuretake #22 Brush Pen offers generous inkflow and a large, tapered brush tip. It’s capable of doing almost anything, from thin lines to filling in large areas. Squeeze the body of the #22 and ink flows very quickly to the tip, allowing you to paint larger shapes and create deep, saturated fills.
The brush tip on the #22 uses white synthetic bristles—not just one big foam piece, like cheaper brush pens. This style of brush pen makes more organic, painterly marks, and wears down much less quickly than foam or felt tips.
