Description
This very special, small-batch, handmade cotton paper comes to us from DEAR FACTORY, an independent manufacturer in Kawasaki City, Japan. The cotton pulp is blended by hand, then pressed into molds and allowed to dry with lots of beautifully deckled edges.
What’s even more remarkable is the versatility of this handmade paper. It works with watercolor, gouache, fountain pens, dip pens, pencils, and virtually any other mixed-media application you can imagine.
This is a package of three small sheets: they measure just 4.9″ x 6.5″, a bit larger than a standard postcard. The paper is nice and heavy, and it doesn’t warp while you paint on it. The surface is very finely textured, so that watercolor has its characteristic natural look, but handwriting is not disrupted by texture, and nibs move smoothly along the surface.
Limited quantities available; please understand that this is a handmade product and it may not always be in stock.
